Paris-based independent tech sponsor AgilaCapital announces a minority investment in Ivalua, a global leader in Spend Management cloud solutions.

AgilaCapital invested alongside Hg Capital, a leading investor in European and transatlantic software and services businesses.

To support this investment, AgilaCapital successfully raised a dedicated Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) onboarding its prominent tech entrepreneurs’ network and securing a lead commitment from funds managed by Hamilton Lane (Nasdaq: HLNE), a leading global investment management firm. Patria - a global middle market alternative asset manager - and independent asset manager Pictet Group - through its Alternative investments division - also invested in the transaction .

This transaction is AgilaCapital’s fourth investment since its launch in 2023.

Through this investment, AgilaCapital is pursuing its longstanding relationship with Ivalua’s founders and will commit its full support to the management team. AgilaCapital’s governance and investment model is driven by its 150+ software and digital entrepreneurs who bring their on-the-ground impact and experience.

At AgilaCapital, the deal was led by Laurent Foata and Jean-Charles Faye. Nicolas Gendry and Laurent Grimaldi (capital raising), Veronique Cayrol and Patrick Perez (finance, legal, risk & compliance) also participated in the transaction.
AgilaCapital was advised by Amala Partners for Capital Formation.
